Dane Jacka: Founder & Managing Director

Dane has been a meditator for over 25 years, having discovered mindfulness as a teenager, and has developed a deep love for these practices. He has sat numerous long, silent meditation retreats in the Vipassana, Insight and Zen traditions as well as undertaken many long solo meditation retreats.

Dane has been a meditation teacher and mindfulness coach for over 10 years and is valued for his precise mindfulness instruction, his ability to articulate intangible experience clearly, his compassion and humour, and his ability to communicate the science of meditation.

He is certified to teach mindfulness as a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program delivered through the University of California at Berkley by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and is a professional member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA). He has an MBA from Griffith University and qualifications in project management.

Kerryn Harkin

Kerryn Harkin: Operations Director

Kerryn has over 15 years’ experience in clinical operations and project management. In addition to her role as Operations Director at pauseful, she works in health research.

She has a Bachelor of Health Science, an Advanced Diploma of Ayurvedic Science, and has spent many months in India training in ayurveda, yoga and meditation.

She enjoys the benefit of an ongoing meditation practice, and has sat numerous Zen meditation retreats. 

Paul Bibby: Mindfulness Educator & Coach

Paul is a qualified and experienced mindfulness educator and coach based in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. He has completed multiple mindfulness teacher training programs, including Mindful Self-Compassion, Mindfulness for Health, and iRest Yoga Nidra, and is currently completing a Masters in Counselling at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

Paul has helped hundreds of people Australia-wide find a deep and abiding sense of inner peace and awareness through his mindfulness teaching and one-on-one coaching.

He has personally experienced the profound benefits of mindfulness over the course of a 15-year practice, and is continuing to learn and expand his knowledge in the field.

“It is the desire to share what I have learnt, and the benefits I’ve received, that motivates me to do this work,” Paul says. "I'm passionate about helping people to live rich, meaningful, fulfilling lives from a place of inner peace, insight and self-compassion."
