Our story

At pauseful, we know that taking a moment to pause, breathe, and be present can transform lives. Our journey began in 1996 when our founder, Dane Jacka, discovered the power of mindfulness meditation and over many years experienced the focus, calm, insight and confidence that resulted. Dane trained in a number of meditation traditions and commenced teaching mindfulness in 2010. In 2020, Dane began to gather a team of skilled, experienced and passionate individuals, all committed to empowering people to transform their personal and professional worlds through mindfulness practice. Since then, we have been on a mission to lead a gentle transformation to a mindful world.
